DS4A Call for Mentors!
Being a mentor is a two-way street.
CALL FOR MENTORS! The next semester of the Data Science for All by Correlation One program is upon us. This will be my third time with the program, and I can’t wait.
Being a mentor is a two-way street. Each semester, I learn from folks I wouldn’t ordinarily meet. The program is more challenging to get into than Stanford, so the Fellows are passionate, smart, and committed. It’s a blast to help them begin their journey into the world of data. And I’ve even hired two of my mentees (Daniel Pimentel and Crystal Romero!)
You’ll also become a part of an incredible network of Mentors from companies like Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Johnson & Johnson, Workday Starbucks, Gilead Sciences, BlackRock, and more.
It takes just 12 hours over 17 weeks. Your role is NOT technical (the program has teaching assistants for that)--you just need to be generous, curious, humble, and willing to share your experience and knowledge, and open to learn.
Check out the overview below, which has links to a video from one of our previous mentors, FAQs, a link to apply, and more about the program.
